I Feel Nothing

For the research project "I feel nothing", Marlen Pflüger and Eva Weibel, dancers,
choreographers and sound artists from Berlin, explored the act of penetration from a queer-feminist perspective. In the Souto Future LAB residency they experimented with phallus like craft machines such as drills and saws and examined them as instruments of self-empowerment for new movement possibilities.

They craft threads to the ideas of Paul B. Preciado's "Countersexual Manifesto", which questions traditional notions of gender, sexuality and power and calls out for a radical re-evaluation of these concepts. Preciado criticises binary and heteronormative ideologies of gender and sexuality, as well as the notion of fixed identities.

During their time in Souto they also held a workshop with the local villagers
