A Play of Tennis, Figs and Stone

In September Lynn Salentijn and Thijs Bronts where in residence for their project that researches social artworks and their creation in international settings and specifically explored the "hidden history" of Parque Municipal de Alta Vila, through the discovery of existing stories and memories.

During the residency they hosted an event to create an open discussion about history, memory and public art and this was held for the people in Agueda from all ages and backgrounds. During the event their was a workshop for gardening, making fig jam, a tennis play and a final drink together where they collected experiences and ideas about the future of an artwork for Parque de Alta de Vila.
